The Tektronix 575 Curve Tracer is a work of engineering art inside. I just had to take a couple of hot photos.

Here is another awesome piece of Tektronix  test gear. A 5031B dual beam\storage oscilloscope for instrumentation work. The bandwidth is low, (1 Mhz) but the sensitivity is awesome,  10 uV/cm, differential input, additional 125 turn current probe inputs (for each channel). The screen is huge and the traces perfect! One day my friend brought in his rack mount one and was bragging on his something awful about how rare it was and all. Well I went on EBAY, and one was listed!, I had to get it. His and mine are the only ones we've ever seen.

I wish my test gear could tell me stories about their carrier. My Fairchild 6200B has a property tag  - Texas Instruments. I think it's cool that TI was using equipment designed and built with a competitors semiconductors. I can't wait to get it into a Motorola lab and test some Phillips devices!. (I'll be sure to leave the tag on it!)
